Welcome to St Jude’s

Thank you for visiting our site today. No matter how the current situation is affecting you, and wherever you are, you can know that God loves you, he cares about what you’re going through and is not just there for you but is there with you. Whilst a lot of things are uncertain, followers of Jesus Christ know that he is faithful and that the only way we can move forward together is to do what he said –  to trust the Lord one day at a time.

The church Jesus set up was never about a building. He said he would build a church that the gates of hell could not withstand and we’re invited to be part of it – part of the body of Christ, his unstoppable church.

That’s why our commitment to serve you as a church doesn’t stop and we are excited to go live online for our Sunday services at 10.00am. Join us here – we’d love to meet with you.

From September, we are gradually allowing regular groups back into our halls, although children’s and adult parties are still not possible.

If you don’t know the hope that comes in Jesus no matter what, or you have questions, can I invite you to go to lookingforGod.com, a site that’s helping people find their way back to God. That’s what St Jude’s is all about – our mission and mandate has not changed.

Our plans may change as things develop, but our staff are working remotely and are accessible via phone and email. We want you to keep in touch.

Despite living in unprecedented times let’s make the most of the great opportunities we have to reach out in love and be light in our neighbourhoods, pray for others and share the good news of Jesus Christ in every way we can.

If you want to change how you receive these emails, then you can update your preferences or unsubscribe from the list by clicking on one of the links at the end of an email.

Safeguarding is a priority at St. Jude’s.

Ensuring that children and young people as well as adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our church life. If you have any concerns about safeguarding please telephone the church office (number at the foot of each page) or contact the diocese safeguarding office.
