There are lots of other groups which run at St Jude’s. The best way to see what’s coming up is either the weekly pew news-sheet or the weekly e-mail. Here are a few of the regular groups:

St Jude’s Lunch Club 

The Lunch Club meets twice a month on a Thursday providing lunches for senior citizens within the community. All are welcome. Contact the office.

St Jude’s Women’s Fellowship 

The Women’s Fellowship is a group of mature ladies who meet on the fourth Monday of the month at 2pm in the Church Lounge for events and talks, both serious and light-hearted. New members always welcome. Contact Pat: 9101252

St Jude’s Art Group 

The Art Group meets every Wednesday from 9am-12 noon in the large hall. We welcome anyone who is interested in drawing, painting in any medium and meeting other people who share similar interests. Contact the church office or call in and see us.

St Jude’s Men’s Group 

The Men’s Group is open to any men, whether connected to St Jude’s or not, and provides opportunities for friendship, fun and fellowship. The group meets monthly with a wide variety of events taking place. For more details contact Ant Dixon (ant@stjudes.church).

St Jude’s FC 

The church has two groups that play football on Monday nights; one for teenagers and one for adults. Contact youth@stjudes.church

St Jude’s Ladies Craft 

The Ladies Craft group is open to any woman, whether connected to St Jude’s or not, who enjoys craft to learn new skills, develop current ones and enjoy friendship. Crafts have included watercolour painting, sewing, sugarcraft, and crochet. The group meets in the small hall roughly once a month on Saturdays from 2pm-4pm. Contact Amy 07967567734

Who Let the Dads Out? 

For dads, grandads, male carers etc with children under 5. A chance to meet with other parent, have tea, coffee & great food and give mum some time off. Activities and toys are available. Every 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:30-11am. Contact the office.
